July 24, 2023 (New York City) The Cauldron, the renowned fantasy-inspired experience, is thrilled to announce its expansion to the Flatiron District in NYC, marking its 2nd venue in Manhattan and its 8th venue globally. The captivating new location at 127 W 26th Street in New York City will transport guests into a world of magic, mixology, and immersive entertainment.
The Cauldron NYC Flatiron's grand opening is set for September 1st in a back-to-school bash and to coincide with the launch of its brand new seasonal Potions Experience: The Reaping. Tickets are now available for the Autumn Term. The first 100 ticket purchasers for the new Flatiron venue will enter a raffle for an invite+1 to The Cauldron’s Grand Opening Bash on Sept 1. Tickets to The Cauldron can be purchased at thecauldron.io/nyc.
With the success of its Chicago launch in May (in a 10,000 sq ft former bank vault), The Cauldron continues to establish itself as a leader in immersive entertainment. The Flatiron venue, in combination with The Cauldron in Downtown NYC on Stone Street, will bring magic to even more eager wizards, witches, and fantasy enthusiasts in the Tri-State area—just in time for Halloween. The new Flatiron 5,000 sq ft venue (formerly The Black Door) is divided into two main spaces: an alchemy-style cocktail bar in the front half and a Potions Experience/Events space in the back half.
At the same time, The Cauldron unveils its annual calendar, immersing guests in the essence of each season through thematic flavors and over-the-top decor. The Autumn Term, known as "The Reaping," is a haunting celebration of the harvest, hearth, and the thinning of the veil between worlds. Guests can look forward to four never-before-seen interactive potions and four brand new interactive potions.
“As we open the new Flatiron venue and in more markets we’ve shifted our focus to create an always-changing Potions Experience, where we unveil a completely new menu every School Term, as well as Limited Edition experiences, like Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine's Day. You should never experience the same thing twice,” said The Cauldron co-founder David Duckworth. Duckworth was recently named to the 2023 Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Arts and Culture.
With an increased venue footprint across New York, Philly, and Chicago and the introduction of the seasonally changing menu and venue theme, The Cauldron is launching its annual Cauldron Membership. Wizards-in-training can purchase the "Every City Membership" for ticket options valid in NYC, Chicago and Philly or the “Local City Membership” for ticket options to one specific city.
