Using this kit:

This kit contains ingredients to create two different infused vodkas. Select which infusion & pairing cocktail appeals to your tastes, and follow the relevant infusion recipe. You have enough ingredients in your kit to try both infusions, but you will need to 200ml of vodka for each infusion and an extra glass bottle with a stopper to store it if you're an impatient wiz and making them both simultaneously!

Infusion 1: Raspberry & Vanilla Infused Vodka

Time: 10 minutes (plus 48 hours for the vodka to infuse)

Difficulty: Beginner Wiz

You will need:

  • 200ml vodka

  • 1/2 vanilla pod

  • 1/2 jar of raspberry powder

  • 1/2 jar of edible glitter

  • 200ml engraved glass bottle with stopper

  • Funnel

  • Knife

  • Chopping board

Method:

1. Using a sharp knife, dissect your vanilla pod lengthways and add half to the glass bottle. For extra flavour, scrape the seeds out of the pod and add to the bottle. Using the funnel provided, add half of the jar of raspberry powder (1g) into the bottle with the vanilla pod.

2. Fill the glass bottle with vodka (approx. 200ml).

3. Place the stopper in the bottle, shake for a few seconds then leave to infuse at room temperature, away from direct sunlight for 48 hours.

4. After 48 hours, place one of the filters in the top of a jug and pour your infused vodka mixture slowly into the filter allowing the liquid to seep through. This step will strain the solid ingredients from the mixture. The vanilla pod and seeds should be discarded and the glass bottle rinsed clean. Use the funnel to decant the infused vodka back into the glass bottle.

5. Add 1/2 a jar of edible glitter (0.5g) to the bottle, shake and watch it sparkle! You have enough remaining ingredients to make a second batch of this infused vodka.
