The Cauldron® Brighton

1. General Terms & Conditions

By making a reservation at The Cauldron® you agree to our reservation and cancellation terms.  We wish to thank you for your understanding and co-operation and look forward to welcoming you to The Cauldron Magical Experience®.

All purchases are final and non-refundable.  Your debit/credit card details are required for all purchases. These details will be held in a secure PCI-DSS compliant vault.  There is a payment processing fee charged per-ticket at the time of payment and VAT is included in ticket price.

The Cauldron® Magical Pub & Experience involves the use of our “magic wands,” which will be provided per group booking or in some cases, per guest upon arrival. We require a debit/credit card to rent a magic wand, and that card will be pre-authorized at the time of the wand rental.  Your card is charged automatically for any damage or breakage (deliberate or not) caused to the magic wand. In the event of a skipped bill, the card is charged for the entirety of the bill plus a missing wand fee. There is a £20 fee for broken or damaged wands and a £50 fee for missing wands.  £20 paid for broken wands remain the property of The Cauldron® and must be returned to the staff or a missing wand fee is applied.

The Cauldron® relies upon bookings being honoured by our guests or sufficient notice being given of any requested changes to reservations.  We will send you a reminder email 48 hours prior to your booking using the email used to initially book the tickets.  The Cauldron® is not responsible for an incorrect or misspelled email provided at the time of booking.

Unfortunately we are unable to hold unconfirmed reservations that have not been paid in full.  A booking is not confirmed without a booking confirmation email.

You may be required to provide proof of purchase upon attempt to redeem any tickets or reservations made. The best way to do this is to show a confirmation email or other written correspondence from our own support channels. As a result you should avoid forwarding your confirmation email or communication to external parties.

Bookings may be rescheduled if the guest has established contact using the contact form on our website (www.thecauldron.io) with at least 48 hours before the start of the scheduled reservation.  Contact made by other means has no guarantee of reaching The Cauldron® and is insufficient for rescheduling a booking. All re-booking dates and times are subject to availability, which can be checked using the booking calendar shown on the The Cauldron® Brighton's Potions Experience webpage.  The Cauldron® is not responsible for unavailable booking dates and times.

Bookings originally scheduled for a Super Peak or Peak day and time can be moved to an Off-peak day and time, but there is no partial refund for switching from Super Peak or Peak to Off-peak.  If customers would like to move their tickets from an Off-peak day and time to a Super Peak or Peak day and time, they will be required to pay the difference in ticket price.

Customers who purchase tickets separately have no guarantee of being seating together.  If you are linked to another group in the same booking period, please contact us by using the contact form on our website or emailing directly to brightonsupport@thecauldron.io and we will do our best to seat your parties at the same table or as near each other as is possible.

Any attending customer who appears to be intoxicated, may not be admitted or may be removed from the premises at any time and no refund or reschedule will be offered.

Any attending customer who behaves aggressively or is perceived by management to be behaving aggressively, may be removed from the premises at any time and no refund or reschedule will be offered.

If you are unsatisfied with your experience, we would encourage you to be in touch with our support team on brightonsupport@thecauldron.io . Should communication reach the point of requesting a refund or reschedule of some sort, please note that any offers or guarantees made by on-site staff, verbal or written do not serve as sufficient covenant to warrant a final outcome. Any such decision will only be confirmed in writing from a customer support channel following investigation (which will include recommendation from on-site staff). Decisions made by online support channels will be in line with relevant Terms and Conditions and will be final. No refunds of any kind will be made available on site in the form of cash or credit.

Reservations have no eligibility to be switched with other venues around the world or with other concepts, pop ups or establishments, either partnered with The Cauldron® or not. Your reservation will only be relevant and valid to the venue it has been made with. In case of error the customer must contact our support channels on brightonsupport@thecauldron.io more than 48 hours before the reservation is due to begin, at a minimum.

The Cauldron® cannot be held responsible for a lack of Availability for any ticket-type if it does not apply to the time and date a customer would like to book. There is no obligation from The Cauldron® to supply any specific ticket type upon request.

Our current Brighton venue does not always have space to accommodate guests outside of their Experience time, so we ask that you please arrive 5-10 minutes before the start of your booking.

To enjoy the full Experience we ask that customers arrive on time for their Experience.  If customers arrive late to their booking, the table will be available until the booking is scheduled to end.  We recommend you give us a call to let us know so we can do our best to prepare the potion-making equipment for an abridged lesson.
In the event of a late arrival, no reschedule or extra time may be made available and aspects of the full experience may be missed if time runs out on the customers reservation.

All Ticket types may be available for a limited time only

Please note that per government requirements, food may be required to be served (and purchased at an additional cost) as part of your experience (if that experience includes alcohol). These government regulations change quickly and so this cost is not built into the core ticket price. If, at the time of your booking, the government requires that food is served, we will be doing so and charging for that additional service in-venue.

The Cauldron® reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time.

1.1 COVID

During the course of government mandated restrictions and prohibitions due to the Global Covid19 Pandemic, The Cauldron® will operate entirely within the adjusting guidelines at all times, in order to provide a safe environment for customers, staff and the wellbeing of the wider community.

Furthermore, all experiences and interactions taking place have been individually assessed to continue this position and social distancing will be in practice around the venue. In purchasing a ticket or entering the venue, all customers are agreeing to respect and act within the guidelines at all times in order to have their reservations and purchases fulfilled. Deliberate or gross infringement upon any guides set out, could result in the reservation and/or experience being terminated at any time and not being refunded.

Upon arrival and before entry, we may require each member of your party to submit their information to facilitate effective contact tracing should it prove necessary.  This information will only be shared with the relevant government body in the event of a public health crisis.

Due to the situation arising from COVID-19, we have implemented additional health and safety measures that are in line with recommended government requirements and recommendations.  In purchasing a ticket to The Cauldron® and/or entering our venue, you are also agreeing to follow these measures.  Failure to do so may result in a denial of entry or a removal from the premises.  These measures will change as guidance and directives from the government change, and may include but are not limited to:

-Maintaining the appropriate social distance as requested by staff
-Wearing masks and/or gloves at all times inside the venue
-Wearing masks and/or gloves at times when you are not seated
-Temperature reading at the door or within the venue
-Required hand washing and/or hand sanitisation upon entry

If you appear to be unwell with Covid-related symptoms (including failing of a temperature reading) you may be asked to leave the premises or refused entry. Under these circumstances your reservation may be rescheduled to a later date, regardless of the 48 hour restrictions included in our “General terms and conditions”.

Additionally if you are hospitalised, require medical attention or are forced to self-isolate due to a covid related illness or exposure then your reservation may also be rescheduled regardless of the 48 hour restrictions included in our “General terms and conditions”. Please note that  evidence of formal notice may be required to validate this.

If you are part of a group, only the affected individual may receive a reschedule. On-site management will advise how to proceed but please note that any final decisions will be made in writing by customer support channels only. Verbal offers or guarantees made to unaffected individuals by on site staff do not serve as sufficient warranty for reschedules or refunds and no refunds of any kind will be made available on site in the form of cash or credit.

Covid Terms and Conditions do not extend to other illnesses or incidents unrelated to Covid exposures. In any non-covid related situations, “General Terms and Conditions” will apply.

If you are ill and have a booking at The Cauldron®, please email us and do not attend.

The Cauldron® reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time.

1.2. Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic offerings

In purchasing a ticket to The Cauldron®, customers agree that they are purchasing a ticket to an experience and that the choice they might make to consume alcohol on site is entirely their own. In purchasing most ticket types, customers will gain access to attend their chosen session within which a limited amount of alcohol is made available (unless otherwise specified in the terms of your ticket type).

If a customer chooses not to consume or interact with alcohol a full magical experience will still be provided to the same quality as would have been with alcohol present. As a result, no discounts are made available for persons not consuming alcohol.
